Hey y'all, I'm Kathryn Baskette!

A mother and spirit-driven author.

I’m on a spiritual journey to discovering my truest self. I started my business because I wanted to help other women who are searching for peace and meaning in their lives.

I married young. We raised a beautiful family that I homeschooled for 16 years, but in the end, my marriage was unhappy. After years of trying to make it work, we finally divorced. It was a difficult time that shattered my soul, but I knew I had to do what was best for my children and me.

Ultimately, it shifted my journey for the better and now I feel free to follow my heart and soul’s passion being an author and close to God.

Personal Bio

I’m a country girl through and through. I was born and raised in Virginia and lived in Greensboro, North Carolina as a young girl. I grew up playing sports and spending time outdoors. I love the mountains, hiking and walking in the woods, and rock climbing. But my favorite place to be is at the beach.

When my parents retired, they moved to Holden Beach, North Carolina, which has become my safe haven. My soul is at peace when I’m surrounded by the water, doing my own thing, and not following the busy world’s expectations.

I was searching for something more...

...and then I found God.

My own journey began at 20 years old when my unborn daughter was diagnosed with a rare condition called Dandy-Walker Syndrome. The doctors told us she would not survive, but our family, and thousands of others around the world, prayed for her and she beat the odds after an an emergency C-section at 31 weeks and a 6 week long journey in the NICU.

Since then, I’ve been on a journey to experience the same peace, light, and comfort that I received from God during my darkest hour. I’ve done a lot of soul-searching and healing work and part of that means following my dreams and learning how to be spiritual and mindful.
