Do you want abundance in your life?
Seeing all the blessings and miracles surrounding you now is an amazing start. There’s abundance everywhere!
A gratitude list is a great way to show abundance in black and white.
Creative Tips for a Fun Gratitude List:
- Challenge yourself to find the small stuff. For example, I am grateful for the feather I found yesterday on my walk or the nickel on the sidewalk.
- Think of something creepy, but good too. You know, like the spider on my door who eats the flies before they come inside.
- What makes you laugh? My dogs keep me laughing with all their shenanigans. For instance, the time Livy’s treat was cemented to the side of her face. She made a silly face trying to lick it off. Then my sweet girl decided to rub her tiny head on the area rug wildly. Yes, you probably had to be there. It was so funny! I am grateful that it broke up my day a little bit. Like they say, “Laughter is the best medicine.”
- Think about how far you’ve come and all that you have accomplished. Celebrate all the achievements big and small you have conquered! Maybe you are proud of yourself for still being able to land a cartwheel at 40 years old. You could be thankful for a promotion at work or the artwork you completed. It’s about being grateful for where you are today on this road of life.
Why should you practice gratitude daily?
When you feel gratitude in your present, it opens the floodgates to more abundance gushing in.
Serving and giving our overflow with love is an awesome way to show God we are thankful for all He has given us. When you give to others, it’s a cycle of abundance that goes around and around.
I wrote the poem below after practicing gratitude one morning and celebrating all the blessings flowing over me. This piece was written in an effort to describe the abundance I was feeling. My hope is that you feel it as deeply as I do.

Abundance
Flows over me.
Like a waterfall
Pouring and splashing,
It’s saturating
My Life.
Positive
Energy
Is attracting
Abundance.
It pours
Over my head,
Drenching my hair
With Golden sparkles.
Abundance
Is running down
My face and neck.
Blessings
Are gushing over
My shoulders and breasts.
Gratitude
Is bursting
From my heart,
Soul and mind.
Abundance grows
And continues
To flow down
My stomach and waist.
Showers of Abundance
And miracles
Are rushing down
My middle and legs.
Abundance is pooling
At my feet.
The splashes
Are rippling out,
As I give to others.
My body
Is glowing
Like a lightning bug
In summer,
As I celebrate
All of my wins.
My energy
Is radiating
Freedom, peace,
Joy, and love.
