A Reminder to Share Your Gifts

These two poems were inspired by an experience I had while reading my Bible. An inner voice spoke to me and said that writing isn’t a gift unless I share it with others.

“Cleared And Renewed”

My soul
Is cleared
And renewed.

All I
Had feared,
Is in the
Rearview.

Praise you
God,
For Grace.

Thank you
God,
For this
Holy Place.

Show us
Each,
The path
You’ve unfolded.

So we
May walk
With you
Boldly.

Sharing,
Loving,
Serving,
And Shining
Bright.

Speak
To us
God,
And we’ll
Spread your
Light.

“Use My Story”

Bring out
My sorrows
God,
And replace
Them with
Peace.

Use my
Story
To help
Others
Believe.

All my pain,
I’m happy
To endure.

The storms gift
Us your presence
That we can’t
Ignore.

A presence
So thick
It covers us
Like fog.

You comfort us,
Clear our path,
And show us
We belong.

You give us
Joy and
Teach us
Solid ground.

You take
Our grief
And turn it
Around.

Thank you,
God,
For all
You’ve done.

Especially
For Jesus,
Your Only
Begotten Son.

    1. You are welcome! These two poems are close to my heart and have been published in bulletins. They have been included in talks and used as prayers for some. I love how God gives us whispers and sends us messages. For me, it’s through poetry and writing.
